Adaptorul de rețea Profinet CN-8032-L acceptă comunicația standard Profinet IO Device.Adaptorul nu acceptă redundanță MRP și nicio redundanță de rețea de inel.Și acceptă modul de comunicare RT în timp real, cu o perioadă minimă de comunicare RT în timp real de 1 ms. Adaptorul acceptă o intrare maximă de 1440 de octeți, o ieșire maximă de 1440 de octeți, iar numărul de module IO extinse pe care le acceptă este 32.
